What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I am really passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of young people.
I have accomplished this in multiple ways over the years (as mentioned in my résumé), but tutoring remains the most satisfying career for me as I am actively involved in the academic progression and personal development of my students.
I really enjoy building a trusted and safe environment as well as a strong bond with each of my students, where they can ask questions and enjoy learning, cultivating their love of learning and pursuit of excellence which they will carry for the rest of their lives.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am patient, punctual, dedicated, responsible, friendly, kind, and, at the same time, firm. I am great at building rapport and trust with students, as well as parents. I am also extremely experienced in teaching.
Having trained for many years in self-development and various branches of psychology, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Positive Psychology and Counselling, I am proficient at observing the body language and personality of each student (and myself), which enables me to motivate and encourage them in ways that are most appropriate and effective.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I would consider the following to be the most important things a tutor can do for a student: Instilling a love of learning, cultivating genuine curiosity and interest, building strong foundations and confidence, imparting wisdom and knowledge in ways where the student is receptive, and as well as providing a good role model for each student.
