What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love seeing a student go from feeling unsure about a concept to having that lightbulb moment where it all makes sense. This correlation between hard work and success is critical for life and to help build their confidence and show them that they're capable of more than they thought is very rewarding . I enjoy making learning feel approachable and engaging ”helping students see that problem-solving can be fun and that improving isn't just about memorising facts it's about being equipped for what life throws at you.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I bring a strong background in Engineering, Finance, and Academic Tutoring, combined with experience mentoring and training professionals in complex concepts. With a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a talent for breaking down challenging subjects, I am eager to bring the best out of my students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the best thing a tutor can do is make learning feel achievable. A big part of that is adapting to how each student learns, breaking things down in a way that makes sense to them, and giving them the confidence to tackle challenges on their own. Tutoring isn't just about getting through the syllabus, it's about showing students how to think critically, ask questions, and believe in their ability to improve.

About Leigh

A passion for business

I’m currently the co-founder of an AI startup, where we’re working to simplify and automate complex documentation in the construction industry. It’s fast-paced and challenging, but incredibly rewarding.

Health and fitness enthusiast

I believe taking care of your body helps keep your mind sharp. I’ve always been into fitness, and it’s something I prioritise as part of a balanced lifestyle. That discipline and mindset carries over into how I approach teaching—calm, focused, and always aiming to improve.

A love for learning and life

I’ve always been someone who’s curious about the world and loves digging into new ideas. Whether it’s helping a student understand a tough concept or exploring how systems work, I get a lot of joy from the learning process and helping others feel that same spark.
