What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The mostly one on one interface with a student (unless the tutor is engaged in a group lesson) is what I enjoy most. There is the opportunity to teach alongside getting to know the student as an individual. Differentiating learning is greatly facilitated in a one on one teaching situation.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am currently working towards a MA Applied Linguistics and TESOL degree at Macquarie University. I have completed my PGCE International from University of Nottingham. I have completed two semesters at Macquarie with distinctions and high distinctions across every unit.
I have had 7 years of classroom teaching experience in culturally and linguistically diverse classrooms. I have taught across various grades ranging from middle to high school students. I am a life long learner and these are my key strengths as a tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Personalising the learning and matching the teaching to suit the learning needs of the student is the most important aspect a tutor can achieve for a student. Understanding and developing the areas an individual student needs particular focus on is the expertise of a proficient tutor.
