I have always enjoyed teaching. It gives me great pleasure to be able to pass on my understanding related to a topic or thing to someone else.I love helping my students out and being able to assist in developing their study skills and in turn improve their academic performance. I believe that every student is different and the way to get through to each one is different. Developing trust between tutor and student, careful monitoring and lecture planning and lots of practice goes a long way into building the students' confidence in the subject, especially Maths. I believe that you cannot learn a subject until you get your hands dirty! According to me, the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is understand his/her situation and academic difficulties. It's important to relate to the student and their problem in order to be able to solve it. Another very important thing is trust.
