What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The ability to help students to understand schoolwork and to help them achieve high results. I find it very satisfying when I have helped someone understand something they were not comfortable with at first, it also makes me happy to know if they have used this new understanding to achieve high grades.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

My strengths would be my patience and my dedication to ensure student's understanding in the topic. I have had training as a buddhist monk in burma where a lot of meditation was done, this has helped me develop a strong sense of patience and understanding. In terms of my dedication, I will find it difficult to stop trying to help someone unless they have fully understood the topic, this is due to the way I had taught myself in subjects where I would not allow myself to stop, until I understand a topic.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

The most important thing for a tutor is to understand that each student is different. Every student will have different methods of learning and also different abilities in retaining information. It is vital for a tutor to see what the student is understanding and what they are not. Different methods should be placed to ensure the student is understanding such topics, and to find a method that is most suitable to teach for each particular student.
