What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Not only have I developed a passion for Mathematics and English during my time undertaking the NESA course which has fueled my ambition to tutor but I thoroughly enjoy watching people grow and reach their full potential. I enjoy pushing individuals past their comfort spot, pushing their abilities to their max. In my time aiding other people in my year in 2020, I've found the gratifying and fulfilling potential of watching students evolve from an uncertain perspective on their studies to becoming confident individuals tackling overwhelming challenges.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that my strengths as a tutor reside within my study patterns. After a huge surge in academic performance in year 11, I know that everyone has it in them it just comes down to determination and willpower. I can help develop these patterns for all subjects and that is a major strength I can use as a tutor. Furthermore, I have full confidence in my abilities to solve and provide logical solutions to any challenging questions that a student would have which I believe is another strength I have as a tutor.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to instill good studying habits while providing enough resources so that they never feel lost within their studies. This involves weekly checkups, an active homework help, helping students develop better and efficient study habits and also ensuring that the tutor can act as a mentor and role model for the student. I believe that a healthy relationship between the student and tutor is paramount as it means the student can freely ask questions without judgement.
