What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring has been, by far, the most rewarding job I have ever had. Not only does it give me a challenge and help me develop my communication skills, but it also allows me to have a real, measurable impact on other people's lives. As well as this, I value the meaningful relationships I have made with the families that I tutor which is difficult to foster at other jobs.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my key strengths as a tutor is my ability to communicate difficult concepts to my students. I have often found that patience, proper understanding, and viewing the concept from different angles aids in helpfully communicating concepts to students. I believe that it is important that, as a tutor, I am a relatable friend to the student and not an omniscient machine that can answer all the questions that the student may have. I think a common misconception about a tutor's job is that their whole purpose is to get their tutee an A+. While this is obviously a wonderful side-effect of tutoring, the most important thing a tutor can do is to develop and improve a student's ability to problem-solve, learn, and work effectively to complete their academic goals.
