What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I can relate this: Peer support mentor, where I helped the year 7 cohort to transition into high school. It also highlighted the importance of empathizing with, other people’s needs over mine. By patiently encouraging them to engage in group activities such that they could make new friends, I found new ways to connect with them to help them maximize their potential both inside and outside the classroom. In this way I Iearned to inspire trust and confidence, which I believe to be transferable skill in tutoring. I enjoyed this greatly because I witnesses their personal growth which was rewardin

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

TO start I am really empathetic, because I can place myself in the shoes of others and understand where they are coming from. The closest example I can give to this is my work as Peer support mentor, where I helped the year 7’s transition into high school. I can link this to how I find joy in comforting people, I believe my-self to be a very family oriented person, and so I can be compassionate understand why a person may be in distress and that’s another point I hope would suit me to being a tutor.

Be there for them in there most trying times and impart comfort and knowledge. Be more of a friend than a professional formality. This way they feel they can trust you, even when they find it difficult to.
