What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love how rewarding it can be. It’s so wonderful when a learner achieves a goal they may have struggled with prior to tutoring.
Meeting targets, in return, encourages a confidence in learning and can enable other academic abilities to flourish. This encourages happiness and a love for learning, which may have been lost in a busy classroom setting.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Training and being a teacher has taught me many skills which are vital for tutoring.
I have learnt patience is key, some learners may need time to understand something. This, in return, has taught me the skill of flexibility. Some learners may need a variety of ways to be taught in order to understand a concept and it is important to try different teaching techniques. Empathy is also very important, a learner may feel they are unable to achieve a goal after struggling for so long, this is when encouragement and positivity is vital.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To provide encouragement and the correct motivational tools to succeed. I want students to not only understand but to also enjoy their time learning. This will enable further study and confidence to achieve great results.
