What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping people learn as not only is it rewarding for me when someone achieves their goals from my help, but it also increases my confidence in effective communication and my ability to share my knowledge. If I feel confident, then the person I'm teaching will also start to gain confidence.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I'm good at making clean and understandable notes for students when they need help or would like to review a concept. I always ask the person I'm teaching to bring two exercise books, one for writing notes and one for working out, so that they can come back to these without having to search. I also think I'm good at verbal communication as I'm great at effectively explaining concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing as a tutor for me is to make sure I have an understanding of the student's personal goals so that we can work towards that. Each student has a different goal and its important I don't put too much pressure into achieving something that they might feel too overwhelmed by, however I also must encourage to continue to set new goals once they've achieved their previous ones. I must be as supportive as I can in their academic endeavours.
