For me, a tutor isn't a person that helps a student achieve a high grade or even a grade that a student wants - although that is one characteristic of the job. For the most part, a tutor is someone who sharpens the pencil that the teacher has given the student, and shows them how to write properly. They erase the mistakes the student makes, and shows them in more depth what they are doing incorrectly, and what they are doing correctly. In my opinion, tutors are the sharpeners and erasers of the student; albeit a bit more informative and thoughtful sharpeners and erasers.Subjects Tutored 🎓
