What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The satisfaction of watching a student make academic progress is what I enjoy the most, and what keeps me motivated to keep tutoring. Particularly with maths, I always look forward to the moment when a concept that may have initially seemed complex suddenly clicks in a student's mind.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am a very well organized person so I always make sure to never go into a lesson without being fully prepared. Agreeing on what topics are to be taught beforehand, preparing specific teaching materials, and providing additional study resources to students are all part of every lesson. I also try my best to pick up on whether or not a student fully understands the concept being taught, as I aim to ensure that they leave every lesson confident in the topic they have tackled.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that the purpose of a tutor is to tailor their teaching as closely as possible to the needs of every individual student; tutors should never take a one-size fits all approach to teaching. Whether that be addressing specific areas of weakness, or adopting a particular teaching style, every student has their own unique needs and ways of learning that should be catered to by their tutor.
