What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I always loved to help people whether it's related to studying or just small things. When someone is struggling on a question or understanding a concept, seeing the spark in their eyes when it finally 'clicks' was a sight I always loved. As well as, seeing someone's confidence build up over time are the reasons why I love helping others. Additionally, I know what it's like to be in a position where I couldn't understand anything, and I always adored the people that helped me. So I would like to give back as much as possible.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I always have a positive and welcoming attitude no matter the situation. I find it really important that everyone is in the correct mindset in order to effectively progress towards a goal. It's a lot easier to do something you WANT to do, rather than something you NEED to do. I have excellent communication skills, I'm always aware of my body language and tone of my voice to ensure that my message is being conveyed in the manner I want it to. I'm also quite patient, I don't mind how long it takes for someone to understand the concept as long as the goal is reached at the end.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being a good listener and having patience with a student, as it ensures that the student fully understands the concepts they are struggling on. Understanding a student's learning style is also important as it will help build the foundation of a tutor's approach. Building a student's confidence is also vital, this can be achieved by focusing on the student's strengths rather than their weaknesses. Building a healthy-friendship with the student is crucial, as it encourages the student to easily ask for help, and makes the tutoring session more enjoyable.
