What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The aspect of tutoring I enjoy the most is the process of getting to know new people and learning more as an individual from their unique experiences. Additionally, I find it quite gratifying to assist a student and witness their growth not only academically but as a person. I love watching them become more confident in themselves and their learning content.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that my greatest strengths as a tutor include my warm and welcoming personality, which allows the student to feel at ease when working alongside me. I think it is integral to have a sense of ease between a tutor and a student to allow the student to not be hesitant in voicing their concerns. In addition to my warm personality, my other top character strengths include my perseverance and self-regulation. Both these characteristics allow me to stay committed to work with others on the task at hand and achieve common goals.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that the best thing that a tutor can do for a student is to provide them with the self-confidence and self-belief to persevere through any difficulties they may face in their academics. This can be done through the gradual withdrawal of support as the student grows in their skills and confidence. Once the student has established their sense of self-belief within themselves, they will be more willing to remain determined and persistent through complex questions and concepts and consequently, receive the results that they desire.
