The fact that you get to see someone else grow because of your help, is a reward in and of itself. I also believe, learning is a two-way process and everytime someone learns something new from me, I get to learn something in return, which is always fun.

Being a current student, I believe I do understand the needs of a student from a tutor. Understanding, not only in case of academics but on a case to case basis, is a huge obstacle, which tutors often face when they can't relate to the needs of a student. I am also very open-minded, persistent and patient, which can not be considered as a flaw.

As I mentioned above, understanding is very important. I have had some great professors/teachers in my who were very understanding to my needs and were able to make me grow.
