What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the sense of achievement when I am able to generate a student's interest in a particular topic. The fun of challenging students and see them achieve their maximum results gives me immense satisfaction. Creating connections with the student and observing their own unique method of solving problems would also be a learning experience for myself. There is a give-and-take relationship between the tutor and the student, which I definitely appreciate.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Perseverance is a key factor which comes naturally to me and helps in overcoming challenges which may be experienced as a tutor. Solving problems is my biggest motivator, which will be crucial if issues do arise. It is important to be patient with your student and adapting to their level of understanding. However, explaining the concepts clearly and being assertive in my explanations might also help the student learn and retain the concepts. Analysing the complication being faced by the student and putting complex concepts into simpler terms is also essential to their understanding.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

It is important to realise that every student has their own individual capabilities which need to be attended differently. Therefore, explaining topics based on their capabilities is necessary for the student to be successful. Being able to understand their needs and assist them whenever they feel stuck, thereby acknowledging 'out of the box' thinking would be another factor which could challenge the student. Assessing their understanding of specific concepts as we go through the topics is also vital in order to enhance their knowledge.
