What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
While I have not done any formal tutoring before, I enjoy teaching others. Throughout high school, I firmly believed that everyone should be given the right to exceed their expectations and was willing to help others in order to do so. Seeing my fellow students succeed and happy with their results, I am motivated to help others to do the same.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think that my potential strengths as a tutor include patience, diligence and the ability to adapt. Regardless of the topic or difficulty, I am willing to help the student in whatever means necessary, whether it be including a subject that the student is comfortable in so that they fully understand or going through several scenarios that the student can go through to see which one better suits them. Not everyone can be taught in the same manner, and these skills are essential so that a student can reach their fullest potential.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to adapt to their learning style and to be supportive. Not every student can be taught using the same plan, and it is necessary to change when needed so that a student can be successful. If a student needs a range of scenarios so that they can clearly understand the topic, it should be essential for a tutor to take on board those needs and see fit that the student exceeds their expectations. I personally know tutors who do so, and their students thrive within their work, able to concentrate and rewarded positive results.
