What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love the various intecations with students. I love getting to know poeple on a very personal level and the ability to work with them through areas of difficulty. I see tutoring as an opprtunity for me to resvisit subjects that I enjoyed in primary school and high school, however from a different angle. I love learning new things everyday, such as a new way to explain a concept or a visual or audial methods of grasping a maths cocept. However, above all, I love to see the student's growth both on an academic and personal level and the sense of self satisfaction it bringe me.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Understanding each student's needs on a personal level is one of my key strength as a tutor. Before I beging teaching a concept, I would try to figure out what kind of learners they are and which concepts they have grasped and which they struggle with, both which I use to construct my lessons. As I tend to disssect difficult concepts into more palitable ones, this serves as another of my strengths as a tutor. This means, my lessons have a clear structure and purpose.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Allowing students to become independent thinkers and restorning their self confidence is one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student. This means while you guide them in filling gaps in knowledge and breaking down difficult concepts, the tutor is able to build these fundamental skills in the student. In instilling these skills, I want them to be able to become independent thinkers. Making the student believe in their own potential is also extremely important to me.
