What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

It's amazing seeing the student's progress and levels of interest in particular subjects increase as they progress through units of work. Students thrive off support and encouragement when they are trying to complete work in a subject which they find challenging or dull, and it's great to give them the push they need to excel in these subjects.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I study a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) at Flinders University and have a big passion to help students grow and achieve. I encourage students to complete all the assigned work and spend extra time focusing on the areas they find most challenging. I see great importance in students simply just completing all the assigned work for a subject. With these being two key focuses, I work to motivate and provide encouragement for students to work to the best of their abilities. I would make sure each session is as enjoyable as possible whilst ensuring we are working towards their learning goals.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Identifying the student's strengths and weaknesses is crucial. I would ensure their strengths are reflected through their work and that we are spending extra time focusing on the weaker areas. As a tutor, you act as the student's moral support, as the subjects they are receiving tutoring for are the subjects they find the most challenging. You are there to work through the processes and build upon the student's confidence to a point where they are comfortable to complete their work without tutor assistance.
