What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Watching people that I am helping finally understand a concept is the most rewarding experience. To know that they now feel more confident about the specific topic, and that I was able to assist them with that, makes it so worthwhile. I also love interacting with others, so to build a friendship with fellow tutors, staff, and especially the students would be a high priority to me

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My extroversion allows me to engage with the student and continue talking to them. Many students feel too embarrassed to ask questions, which is something I completely dislike and would eliminate in my work space. I am able to build a safe environment without bullying or degrading of others, because everyone is constantly learning (including tutors). I am also extremely dedicated and eager, which my references will agree with. Regardless of what task I am required to do, I will always give 100% effort and do so as effectively, quickly, and to as high of a standard as possible

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor MUST make the student comfortable with their learning by building a friendship with them, so that they always want to return to EZY Math Tutoring. A tutor must also put aside everything else in their life to assist the student: even if I have a bad day I cannot let that lessen my performance while teaching the student. Finally, a tutor cannot just give the answer, they must provide the student the knowledge to do so. Proof of a good tutor is that without saying the answer, they have taught the student everything they need to know to figure it out for themselves.
