What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I am enthusiastic about coming alongside people to encourage, equip and empower each person in their work and I enjoy the unique spaces tutoring sessions provide to do this. I love connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and sharing my skills and understanding in a way that helps others succeed.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a student myself I understand the stress of heavy workloads and the frustration of struggling with specific concepts and tasks as well as study generally, and I approach tutoring in a personable way with a focus on encouraging and equipping each student in their studies. I am keen to equip students to learn and achieve well and very willing to be creative; adapting my tutoring approach to work with different learning styles and suit unique needs.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I consider the most important things a tutor can do for a student are to provide encouragement and support, and to teach skills for problem solving, learning, and managing workloads. Subject-specific knowledge and skills are of course extremely important, but developing the confidence to try (and learn from mistakes) and the transferable skills needed to approach challenges can be life-changing for students.
