What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I thoroughly enjoy seeing students progress in their ability to identify and solve problems by themselves. I do understand that it does take time for a student to grasp fully concepts and ideas, and so when a student is able to improve their performance it is truly rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe I am able to explain and work through examples thoroughly whilst ensuring the student does not get lost. Additionally, explaining concepts and actively engaging in conversation with the student in order to convey concepts across more easier is another strength I believe I possess. I am also quite patient with students if they are not able to grasp concepts immediately.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Over the year that I have been as a music tutor, it has been revealed to me that one of the most important aspects of tutoring is trying to formulate and create individual plans for each different student, as each student will possess different strengths and weaknesses, and that one singular plan will not suit every student. So, spending time with each student and understanding where they are weakest at is a skill which is extremely valuable and is what I consider quite important as a tutor.
