What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy tutoring as it is a way to give back to the community in a way, although I am earning money from it, it is still a choice I make to help younger students with their studies. It also ensures I know my capabilities and I remember my everyday basics such as multiplication instead of relying on phones. It will also be a side job that I will be in need of as I will be paying university fees.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor I am good at not judging the students ability but rather acknowledging their persistence and capabilities. This makes the student feel welcome and incentivised to learn more as they will be recongised when they achieve a personal best in their test. I also co-operate with younger students and remain patient.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to not judge their ability but rather acknowledge the hardwork and congratulate their persistence and incentivise them to want to learn as opposed to being forced to learn, reward the student for getting a new personal best on their test, this will ensure the child knows that their hardwork is paying off, most importantly the tutor should teach the student how to use hand solved methods and how to use the calculator to solve the question, this will ensure the student knows what they are doing as opposed to jus answering it.
