What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Seeing the pupil gain confidence in that particular subject area so that they feel more comfortable to answer and attempt questions. It's also lovely hearing that they then enjoy the subject a lot more because of the increased confidence.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I get on well with students and really take an interest. I'm enthusiastic and positive which I think really helps when someone thinks they are failing, or can't do something. I believe encouragement and patience are two important qualities that I regularly put to practise while teaching. Being adaptable and understanding, and having a good sense of humour.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Make sure the student is reaching their full potential. Try and make the subject more enjoyable by knowing the pupil well (incorporating their interest into some of the questions etc). Understand and recognise the strengths of the pupil and use that to help with their weaknesses. Most importantly a tutor can completely change a student's perception of the subject, and make them feel happier and more confident answering questions independently.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
