What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

It's rewarding to see someone you've taught/coached grow and develop their skills and achieve their goals. I also really enjoy building a bond with a mentee and being able to help them in their times of need.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I believe I am very organised and have a patience and resilience that it required to tutor someone. I also feel like I can relate to younger people and am good at breaking things down and translating concepts in a way that is understandable.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

It is important to be patient with a student; they won't always understand what is being taught and as a tutor you need to be able to explain something in a way that they will understand the concept. I think it's also crucial that the tutor is organised; arrives a few minutes early and knows what they will be going through and brings any appropriate equipment/material to the lesson. It is also important that the tutor is consistent; that is when they commit to a student, they commit to their learning and don't cancel on their student.
