What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Multiple factors and reasons contribute to my love for tutoring. However, the most enjoyable aspect for me is developing a friendly relationship between the student and myself. In doing so, I can further understand how a student thinks and can alter my teaching styles in order to cater for his or her needs. Most importantly though, such a relationship ensures that both parties are having fun with the subject content that they are engaged with. This ensures that the student is willing to ask questions whenever the urge arises, and also increase their performance in the subject.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Although I'm not the perfect tutor, I pride myself on numerous aspects. Firstly, I believe that I'm quite an approachable and friendly person, which allows my students to freely express or ask whatever questions when necessary. Moreover, I am a highly motivated individual, meaning I am willing to help students outside of sessions to help them achieve their goals. This can range from opening up communication channels such as personal text messages and emails to allow students to seek help 24/7 and extensive preparation before sessions to ensure students get the most out of their time with me.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do is to fully understand the needs and wants of a student within their specific subject and in life. By understanding this, tutors can create an environment that will best suit the student, allowing enhanced performance and enjoyment within their subjects. This can be done by simply engaging in normal conversations with the student, which allows the tutor to understand the student as a person rather than a school pupil. In doing so, a student can feel empowered and confident that they are sharing their academic journey with a person who will guide them.
