What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

There are two things that I enjoy most about tutoring. Firstly, I am always thrilled when my students told me that I assisted them with achieving their leaning goals. Secondly, tutoring is also a process of re-learing to me. Even when I tutored Mandarin, I still re-learnt a great amount of knowledge that I did not master in the past, let alone English which is not my native language.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Firstly, my bilingual background with native Mandarin and fluent English language proficiency will help to communicate with students and their parents with similar cultural background. Secondly, my experiences of both working in the education domain and customer service industry shape me into an individual who has a sense of responsibility, excellent punctuality, strong communication skills, team-work spirit, an ability to work under pressure, and an ability to multitask. Thirdly, working as a Mandarin tutor also helps me to develop an ability to customize my lessons.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

There are three most significant things that a tutor can do for a student. Firstly, the tutor should aid the student in mastering as much content knowledge as possible. Secondly, the tutor ought to help the student to build up his/her confidence, which is essential for the student to face learning and exams in the future. Without confidence, the student's performance would be considerably affected no matter how much knowledge he/she has. Finally, the tutor is supposed to estabish a sound relationship with the student to make him/her feel that there is someone that he/she can reach.
