What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to impart the knowledge that I have accumulated onto students. I enjoy giving them short-cut methods of working out problems and coming up with solutions (ways that I used while I was in high school) . I enjoy seeing the student progress over time as they put in continuous work into a topic. I enjoy being able to tutor at a pace that makes the student comfortable so they can grasp the content more effectively.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am understanding and adaptive to a situation which allows me to go at a pace that is comfortable for the student. I have developed time management and communication skills that would allow me to convey the syllabus effectively within the limited time slot that is given to me. I am enthusiastic which enables me to motivate and encourage the progress of my students. I have good organisational skills that will be helpful in making sure I plan weekly sessions and organise work for my students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Build a strong inter personal relationship with the student that would enable the student to grow and progress with the subject content as well as giving the student the opportunity to clarify any doubts. Converse with the parents so as to keep them updated on the progress of their child. A tutor is able to motivate a student with positive reinforcement that would allow a student to be involved with the subject to the best of their ability. Pre-plan the weekly lesson so that the vast content of the syllabus can be summarised and the concepts can be grasped easily.
