What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I get a lot of enjoyment from tutoring when I see that the students are happy and smiling and enjoying themselves whilst learning. Furthermore, when the students finally understand a concept that they had been struggling with for a long time, it makes me feel that I have done my job in helping them achieve something they didn't think was possible.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am great when it comes to small talk, so I always love to know about what the students have been up to during the week and what they have planned for the weekend. Moreover, studying a mathematics degree at university has allowed me to constantly have maths around me at all times, so I never forget the main concepts. Furthermore, I have worked as a tutor for the past year and have enough experience to be able to help out anyone with any of their problems. Also, having younger siblings have allowed me to improve my skills in tutoring.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor should do for a student include: - Make sure the student understands what is happening during the lesson - Reassure the student that they can ask the tutor any questions they have, regardless of how silly it may sound - Answer any questions that the student has, at it can be very beneficial to their learning - Ask how the student is, and create a conversation to slowly ease the student into the start of a tutoring lesson - Talk to the student's parents if there are any concerns in their learning, so they can get the best possible outcome
