What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I get a lot of enjoyment from tutoring when I see that the students are happy and smiling and enjoying themselves whilst learning. Furthermore, when the students finally understand a concept that they had been struggling with for a long time, it makes me feel that I have done my job in helping them achieve something they didn't think was possible.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am great when it comes to small talk, so I always love to know about what the students have been up to during the week and what they have planned for the weekend. Moreover, studying a mathematics degree at university has allowed me to constantly have maths around me at all times, so I never forget the main concepts. Furthermore, I have worked as a tutor for the past year and have enough experience to be able to help out anyone with any of their problems. The most important things a tutor should do for a student include: - Make sure the student understands what is happening during the lesson - Reassure the student that they can ask the tutor any questions they have, regardless of how silly it may sound - Answer any questions that the student has, at it can be very beneficial to their learning - Ask how the student is, and create a conversation to slowly ease the student into the start of a tutoring lesson - Talk to the student's parents if there are any concerns in their learning, so they can get the best possible outcomeTutoring students in 👦 👧
