What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I think I would most enjoy being able to meet new students and hopefully be able to form new friendships with them. I also want to guide these students with my experiences and help them improve their academic performance and achieve their set goals.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think I would make an excellent tutor for students as I have recently been through similar situations in high school and university. I am also highly skilled and have a deep knowledge of Maths, Chemistry, and Business Studies as I have scored a Band 6 mark in each of these subjects. So I would be able to improve their current abilities and upon their weaknesses as I have personal experience of studying this course material. I also enjoy mentoring younger grades which would enable me to provide extra tips on how to handle their time tables and the accompanying stress.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Other than doing the basics of helping students complete their homework, a tutor should identify which areas a student is struggling in and then focus on that area by reviewing basics and providing extra course material and example answers. This will benefit the student best rather than continuously focusing on questions that the student is already familiar with. Apart from helping them improve academically, a tutor needs to be able to guide students on how to deal with the stress of exams so they can perform to the best of their ability and maximize their potential.
