What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I thoroughly enjoy connecting with students in a way that facilitates the transfer of my knowledge and experience. This may entail finding the most effective way of explaining or framing an idea for a particular individual. More often that not, this can be challenging for both the student and myself รขโฌรขโฌ getting through these moments is always fulfilling It also brings me a sense of satisfaction seeing students figure things out on their own, and experiencing their reactions. I excel at exercising patience, and also have excellent listening skills. Showing respect is important in developing good relationships with students, and helps facilitate good communication, which is important for the learning process. Further, I try and see things from the students' perspective, and often think back to what it was like for me as a school student. This helps me figure out the best way of helping someone with their work. Furthermore, I believe intrinsic motivation is of paramount importance in relation to 'true' success. Instilling this in someone younger than you would be something truly special.
