What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

To me, tutoring is as much about self development and leadership as much as it is about self satisfaction in helping someone and contributing to the society. It is an unparalleled feeling to mentor someone and take them through a gradual process to ultimately see them succeed. Knowledge is best when it is nurtured fruitfully and passed on. I value and respect the tutors I have had In my school life and I would love to assist students in the same manner.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Patience would be a key quality which I posses and in my opinion it would assist well in my role as a tutor. A burning desire to contribute to the society is something I have always had and I think that would help in such a field as I would want it to be less about me and more about the student. A strong control over communication skills, developed through numerous leadership roles undertaken is essential. I am fortunate enough to have a lot of experience where my communication skills were tested and I have taken a lot out of that. Passion for the subjects and approachability form my being.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Building a caring relationship in my opinion is the most important thing a tutor can do for any student. It is only that foundation can a tutor be able to deliver his best and at the same time the student will be keen to learn. It is the conducive learning environment that a tutor has to provide to enable the student to work to his/her maximum strength and enrich their learning experience. It is essential that the tutor often puts himself in the students situation and try thinking like how a student would, this enables the tutor to break down the concepts into simpler explanations and help.
