What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy when students have a 'light bulb' moment. I love seeing the look in their eyes and the smile of their face when they understand what it is they were working on. This may sound strange, but I am very pleased when we get to a point where the student doesn't need me anymore. It means that I have taught them how to teach themselves and they can live their life constantly learning.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my main strength is my enthusiasm towards learning, maths in particular. It is such a beautiful subject and sometimes it really is a different language. I hope to pass on my enthusiasm to other students so that they can see what I see. Most people think they don't like maths, but that is just because they don't understand it. I want to help people understand it and I think that I can phrase sentences and express topics in a fun, easy way so that students don't see learning as a chore, and instead see it as an enjoyable exercise.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is create a positive learning environment. Students need to feel safe and they should be excited to learn. If tutors create a happy, welcoming and productive teaching space, the student will be more willing to listen and participate.
