What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I am willing to help students with any problems and difficulties associated with maths. It is fulfilling to see students improve and are satisfied with their progress and results. I have always wished I had a tutor in high school to offer me extra help with school, therefore, I am hoping to provide any kinds of help to students who are in need of tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths would be having good knowledge about the subject I am helping the student with and the ability to explain and demonstrate that knowledge in multiple ways until the student understand it. I have a passion for working with young people is also important as this encourages me to motivate the students to learn more about the subject. Good communication skills and patience are also my strengths as I am willing to explain the problems as many times as the student needs.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that part of tutoring is not just pointing out what is wrong, but also what the student is doing right. If a student is aware of their strengths, they can use them in future and feel more confident in themselves. A tutor should use everything and anything at their disposal to translate concepts into tangible and fresh translations to engage their students. In addition, a tutor should observe how a student think and work in order to provide them with the best strategies to approach their problems.

Kai needed a bit of a reminder for some of the angle relationships such as co-interior, alternate and corresponding angles. He also needed some help with remembering the names of different triangles (isosceles etc)
