What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy teaching and explaining concepts that the students previously were not able to grasp, and being able to convey it in a manner that makes them go 'Aha!'. I think it is very fulfilling to be able to help out a student who is struggling in a subject, and ultimately make them feel that it is not so bad.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that the approach that I take to my tutoring, where I really make them understand the concepts rather than just rote-learn something, makes the student learn better and in a more enjoyable way. By approaching tutoring in this way, I face the student with a 'can-do' attitude which also generates self-confidence in the student themselves.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think being able to let the student think for themselves - leading them to the answer, rather than giving it to them. This means that the student is not only better prepared for tests, but they are actively engaging with the learning process.
