What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy being able to support students to help them gain self confidence, develop their skills and grow as an individual. My students achieving success whether that be academically or through other means, is something I am proud of and more than willing to celebrate. I enjoy seeing when things click and their demeanour or outlook changes as they begin to understand the content and strive towards their goals. As I connect with the individuals, I become invested in their progress and try my best to see them succeed.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am invested and committed to my students' progress and am eager to see them succeed. I am patient, intuitive and creative and as such am able to be help present information in many different unique manners or to try different methods to identify what works best for that specific student.
I am a passionate learner and greatly enjoy the content I teach, a passion which I hope can inspire others and enjoy the learning process.
I also strive to be a supportive and friendly individual that encourages students to do their best, to work on self and academic progress.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The ability to understand a student and their learning style is something I highly value in a tutor. In school classes where they are often one of many, they may find that the teaching style may not work for them and that they cannot achieve their goals. In a tutoring scenario, we are able to cater to them more specifically, to be intuitive about what their preferences are or what works for them.
However it is also about understanding the individual more hollistically, to connect with and support them, to inspire self confidence and passion that makes them self-motivated to succeed.
