What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing that "ah ha" moment when students finally get what you are trying to teach them. After seeing a puzzled face for a period of time a smile comes across their face and everything makes sense. That moment is priceless.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strength as a tutor is my strong background in learning, motivation, engagement, and mindset which I have studied during my undergraduate and further pursued during my PhD. I also find that I am very patient when trying to teach something and I am very creative in trying to find new ways to teach something of my first attempt doesn't seem to be working.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is not just provide the student with the knowledge that they need for a course or for a test but that they can learn along the way the methods which help them learn best so they can apply those methods to future challenges. In other words, how they figure out one problem or completing one task may insoire them or make it easier for them to overcome that kind of task in the future.
