What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I think the best thing about being a tutor is the joy that can be achieved when you witness how you're able to contribute to the growth and improvement of your students, which thereby is a foreseeable measurement of your effort and hard work. Thus, enabling me to collaborate, engage and help a range of people in need, whilst even being able to make friends along the way.
Furthermore, I believe it is a great way of self-development, where I am able to improve my critical thinking skills and communication with various people.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I believe myself to be a very approachable, fun and welcoming person, meaning that the students are able to be comfortable approaching me with any of their questions and worries. Having previously had some tutoring experience enabled me to understand the skills needed to be a good tutor, where the skills I've developed such as being a competent listener, and having effective communication, interaction, collaboration, and critical problem-solving skills, make me a suitable candidate for this position.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing that a tutor can do for a student is being that extra person for them where they can come to for any worries and queries. Having finished year 12 myself I know how much it means knowing that there is always someone you can go to for help, advice or ultimately anything that would is able to aid you in your work and studies. Being a tutor means it is essentially your responsibility to put in all your effort to help the student achieve the highest possible outcome they can, striving them to achieve their personal best and not having to regrets when looking back at it.
