What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy building a student's confidence, watching the student grows, and sharing the joy that comes with improvement. It's such a wonderful feeling knowing that you've helped someone and that they've earned a better grade as a result.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

There are many teachers with knowledge, credentials and experience who can't convey that knowledge to students. I feel this is similar to the Actuarial work that I've been doing in the past 10 years. Actuarial concept is sometimes difficult to understand by the senior management, so we have to convey the message to management in a simple to understand ways, such as avoid using jargons, use graph and tables, or use real life examples. Been in the Actuarial field for 10 years, I believe I have the strength of conveying the knowledge to student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe building a strong, personal relationship with a student is very important. The more connected a student feels to the tutor, the more the tutor creates trust and respect, essential ingredients for the student to learn well.
