What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy teaching others because I can then transfer my knowledge to those who want it and need it. I also understand how hard it can be for someone who is struggling, so I really want to be there for them during this period of time. I believe that with practice, skills get better.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am a very easy person to talk to. I am not shy and am willing to speak up. As a former Reach Out buddy, I also know that not everyone is easy to talk to. Through the organization, I have learned different ways of talking to people which allows them to speak up. Another strength of mine is that I am very good at time management. I always work ahead of deadlines because I am a perfectionist. Since I work ahead of time, I am not rushing and the work I create is to the best of my ability. Math and English are also my strengths so it shouldn't be an issue in teaching these two subjects.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the bonding between the tutor and the student is very important. If the student doesn't feel comfortable talking to the tutor, he or she will never learn effectively. They need to be comfortable enough so that they can ask questions whenever they need to!
