A tutors primary role is to ensure the students understands the content. In my experience this is not as simple as it sounds, as many students are taught how to answer questions rather then being taught mathematics; abstracting difficult concepts into simpler forms, through the use of analogies and other explanatory methods is key in allowing a student to get a firm grasp of a concept, such that it can be applied to range of questions, particularly harder questions which require lateral thinking that only a deep understanding of a topic can provide.Subjects Tutored 🎓
