What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I am helping children/teenagers at the most crucial point of their lives. I find that simply striving to make a boring subject seem interesting and simplifying complex concepts can be a rather challenging yet exciting role. Thus having able to witness the impact of my role in making a difference to the student's life and helping to achieve his/her goals is truly satisfying and rewarding.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my strengths as a tutor is my flexibility and openness to new ideas and ways of doing things. I am open to trying new ways of teaching, sometimes following the lead of my students and catering my tutoring style for them.
Another strength of mine would be the ability to identify key ideas and concepts crucial in the syllabus, the thought process of solving the problem and having able to apply various mathematical concepts to real-life situations to better illustrate the concepts taught.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do would be to understand the students, their learning style, depth of understanding of the subject and thus tailoring the course to their needs.
It is also of great importance if a student can be guided and taught by the tutor the thought process of solving the problem instead of simply being spoon-fed.
