What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is the chance to make a real difference in a student’s learning journey. I love seeing the moment when something clicks for them—their confidence grows, and they feel more capable. It’s incredibly rewarding to know I’ve helped make that happen. I also enjoy building a connection with students, understanding their unique challenges, and tailoring my teaching to suit their needs. Every student learns differently, and finding ways to make lessons engaging and meaningful is something I truly value. Tutoring isn’t just about academics; it’s about helping students

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my biggest strength as a tutor is my ability to adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s unique needs. I take the time to understand how they learn best and then tailor my approach to make lessons engaging and effective. I’m also very patient and approachable, which helps students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their struggles. Another strength is my ability to break down complex concepts into simple, manageable parts, making it easier for students to grasp challenging topics.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student are to provide clarity, build confidence, and foster a love for learning. First, a tutor should simplify complex concepts and explain them in ways that make sense to the student. It’s about making the subject less intimidating and more approachable. Second, building the student’s confidence is key. Encouragement and positive reinforcement can help them believe in their abilities and overcome challenges. Lastly, a tutor should inspire curiosity and a genuine interest in the subject. When students see learning as enjoyable and v

About Nehum

About Me

My name is Nehum, and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Environment and Sustainability at Monash University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, which I completed with first rank in India, earning a gold medal for my academic excellence. My dedication to academics is reflected in other achievements as well, including receiving gold medals for my exceptional performance in both 10th and 12th-grade examinations.

Academic Highlights

I have earned several prestigious accolades, including a gold medal in the International Math & Science Olympiad (May 2019), showcasing my analytical and problem-solving abilities. In March 2023, I secured the first rank in the NPTEL exam for the course on Ancient Indian Technology, conducted by the Government of India. Additionally, I topped ISRO’s Space Technology Exam (May 2023) and was invited as a speaker at the National Scientist Meet, where I engaged with experts to discuss cutting-edge advancements in space technology.

Tutoring Approach

I have a deep passion for teaching, which stems from my aspiration to become a professor and a researcher in the future. I strongly believe that education is the foundation for a brighter tomorrow, yet many students today lack the right guidance to build that strong foundation. My love for tutoring comes from a desire to bridge that gap, helping students not only excel academically but also develop confidence and a love for learning. By focusing on each student’s unique strengths and challenges, I aim to create a supportive environment where they feel encouraged to grow, think critically, and achieve their goals. I am committed to making a positive impact in their academic journey, ensuring they are in capable and caring hands.
