What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy helping people understand something they previously didn't. My general problem with maths classes is they just focus on finding the right answer without explaining why it is the right answer. I like breaking problems apart. If you can understand the mechanics of a problem then you can solve it easier and I like helping people find the bet way for them to understand something.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I'm very patient. I've tutored both high and foundation level maths and found that I can always find a way to break down a problem in smaller parts and through that find the exact part of the problem that a student is struggling in. I think of myself as very good at explaining a problem in easy to understand steps and more importantly explaining not just how to solve a problem but WHY the solution works.Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing is to teach something in a way that will stick in their minds and not just teach to get through an exam. Explaining why a solution makes sense and referring to real world problems is a great way to explain mathematics as it becomes much easier to solve a problem if you can visualise the solution method.Tutoring students in π¦ π§
