I let students work at their own pace. I never move on to another topic until I'm sure the student has completely understood the first topic, and I'm always open to move back to previous topics. I like to stay a little bit ahead of the student's school syllabus so they can feel more prepared, and I am able to mark students' work, especially practice exams.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think one of the most important things a tutor could do for their student is to never push them to work too hard or too fast. I also think it is extremely important for the tutor to be open-minded towards the student and take into account their preferences when working or learning.
