What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy the most about tutoring, is sharing my knowledge of subjects that I am passionate about with the future generation. I love to see them excel, grow and build confidence in subjects that they may have been struggling in, as well as knowing I played a role in their academic development.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor include being incredibly calm and patient. I will allow the student to work at a pace that they're comfortable with, but also encourage them to step a little out of their comfort zone as their confidence grows in their particular subject. I am very clear with my language and I am able to explain particular concepts in simple terms. I also like to encourage them to find their own particular leaning style, which I can then cater to.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is to have full faith in the particular students ability and never give up on them. If I can show them that I believe they can do it, then that hopefully will spark their self-confidence and encourage them to excel. I also think that it is important for a tutor to provide their students with the 'tools' to apply to their learning when they're not around. That is providing them with ways to work out problems or understand concepts that they can use when they're studying by themselves or doing work at school.
