What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

As I already mentioned, I get immense satisfaction from helping someone through a problem, and experiencing their progression from uncertainty to understanding. Being able to facilitate that is a privilege. Additionally, being able to have a relationship with students makes it far more rewarding work than many others.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my strengths lie in my patience, and ability to approach the same problem from different angles. I have found this extremely helpful in the past when teaching, due to the intrinsic variability of cognitive function, especially amongst kids.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is give a student confidence in their own ability. The best way to do this is NOT to just tell them answers, but to help them work through the problem themselves.

Testimonials 🏆

Jason has been to our home 3 times now and we could not be more pleased. He is a very polite respectful young guy. More importantly Matthew really likes him and says is he is really helping him. Jason said today that he could see improvement. More than happy to continue.
