What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The satisfaction of successfully imparting knowledge to others, and planting the seeds of passion in a certain area of study, is priceless.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm first and foremost a good communicator; I am able to effectively communicate concepts that can be often very abstract and difficult to grasp.
Synergistic with communication is empathy, specifically the understanding of what the student does grasp and what he/she does not. This is important as it tailors how you communicate with them. I am also very strong with this.
Lastly, I have a good passion with everything I teach, and I have a great eye for fun within concepts that may seem extremely dull and boring.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Improving a student's perception of the subject, from a hated monster, to an enjoyable and curious endeavour, is a critical and often undervalued element of tutoring. It is crucial that the student walks away from the lesson with a real-world understanding of how what is taught is important to society and our understanding of the universe. Lastly, the tangible improvement of a student's academic ability is of course an extremely important thing a tutor can do for a student.
