What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

My experience with a tutor has been very rewarding. I had always struggled in math, scoring the least out of my class. My tutor really helped me in understanding concepts better and also improved my speed in solving problems. What I enjoyed most about having a tutor was the relationship I made with her. I felt very comfortable in asking any questions, which boosted my self- esteem and academic performance. I don't have any past tutoring experience, but I have a strong desire to become a tutor so that I could help students overcome their weakness like how I overcame mine.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Establishing effective communication is the key to understanding the strength and weakness of a student. Being a student myself, I would be able to understand the problem from the students perspective and guide them towards the right path. Moreover, I am patient, a good listener, and I have a strong will to help my students. I would also give them proper feedback, make them aware where they tend to make more mistakes and how to avoid them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being committed to the student and their growth should be the most important thing for a tutor. There is nothing more rewarding for a teacher than seeing their student improve under them. Secondly, the tutor should explain the concepts thoroughly, and also structure the lessons in such a way that learning could be made easier. Thirdly, the tutor should be patient and listen to the student's issues and should come up with an effective solution. And lastly, building trust between the tutor and the student is of paramount importance, as it will help the student to open up about their problems.
