What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy sharing my love and enthusiasm for the subject and hope to pass on that passion to the students. I believe I would get a lot out of seeing the student's development and knowing I had a part to play in it. With tutoring my sister and friends (and my work at SciWorld), I tailer my explanation for the audience and try different techniques until they understand, and it excites me just as much as it does the student when I see that glint of understanding in their eye.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Through my work as a science communicator, I have the ability to alter and tailor my explanations to different age groups and skill levels. Explaining the concept of gravity to a 5 year old is very different to a 15 year old and I have experience working with both age groups in helping them understand scientific concepts. Having completed my year 12 in 2015, I have a high level of understanding of the current curriculum (in maths, chemistry and physics) and can therefore empathise and recognise issues the students may have.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
